Our founders met through their work in transportation. Their careers had taken different paths, but they shared an understanding of the challenge: keeping pace with safety and compliance while running a busy fleet.
They created CB Fleet Advisors to put that experience to work for other fleet professionals—with practical guidance that connects regulatory requirements to everyday operations.
The people behind CB
Co-Founder
From the driver’s seat to fleet management.
Carson is a veteran of the United States Army’s 101st Airborne Division. His transportation career has included work as a Class A commercial truck driver, dispatcher and corporate fleet manager for a large regional distribution company.
That range of experience gives him a hands-on understanding of the demands on drivers, dispatchers and the people responsible for managing a fleet.
Co-Founder
From the pallet dock to fleet administration.
Brian began his career at age 19 on a pallet dock. He moved into safety and compliance for a major food distributor, then became Fleet Administrator for the same large regional distribution company where he and Carson worked together.
His experience spans fleet safety, compliance, management and technology integration, with a practical understanding of how those responsibilities fit into daily operations.
50+ years of combined industry experience
Our founders bring more than 50 years of combined transportation and fleet experience. They understand how compliance decisions affect drivers, safety decisions affect operations, and operational decisions affect customers. That perspective shapes the guidance we provide.
Both founders earned the Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) designation through the National Private Truck Council (NPTC). Those individual credentials complement experience across driving, dispatch, safety, fleet management and technology.
